The Berardi Group distribution system is composed of a modern headquarters in Castel Guelfo (BO) where the main offices are centralized (Management, Administration and Finance, Technical, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Information Systems, Marketing) and a network of peripheral warehouses, which cover the national territory in a capillary manner.

New headquarters

In 2017, Berardi moved to a new complex a few hundred meters from the location of the historic headquarters. The new facility consists of a business center with 1,500 square meters of offices flanked by a warehouse of approximately 10,000 square meters . The buildings were designed to maximize energy efficiency , paying scrupulous attention to the optimization of the passive envelope and cutting-edge systems. The complex is equipped with a photovoltaic roof with latest-generation amorphous panels capable of producing up to 200 kW, combined with a heat pump air conditioning system for winter heating and summer cooling. The solutions are designed to minimize the environmental footprint of the entire complex. The structure, designed according to the most up-to-date anti-seismic standards, is equipped with anti-seismic equipment and shelving to guarantee the total safety of employees and continuity of service to our customers .

A widespread distribution network

13 branches, in addition to the head office, in Italy: from Milan to Bari, from Treviso to Caserta

You can count on a widespread network of branches throughout Italy, in strategic positions, and ready to guarantee immediate solutions to your emergencies and eliminate the unpleasant consequences of a line stoppage. The Berardi Group branches are in Lombardy in Milan (MI), in Veneto in Treviso (TV) and Padua (PD), in Emilia-Romagna in Reggio Emilia (RE), Anzola Emilia (BO), Castel San Pietro Terme (BO) and Rimini (RN), in Tuscany in Pistoia (PT), in Marche in Ancona (AN), in Lazio in Frosinone (FR), in Puglia in Bari (BA), in Campania in Caserta (CE), all equipped with warehouses containing thousands of items in stock.

All the warehouses mentioned are connected in real time with the central semi-automated warehouse of over 10,000 m2 at the Castel Guelfo (BO) headquarters thanks to the support of a dedicated technological system that manages the availability and rapid dispatch of over 50,000 items ready for delivery.

A network of numerous commercial collaborators throughout Italy assist the customer in the pre- and post-sales phase. A team of people dedicated to customer care. A technical staff available to the customer to deal with the most varied fastening solutions and for the study and execution of special parts to design. The Berardi Group purchasing office is a team that:

  • ensures, with the collaboration of the Quality Office, a qualified supplier base
  • schedule warehouse stock level
  • constantly check the best quality/price ratio

In support of the purchasing team, the quality office verifies that the incoming product complies with the required specifications.

Solid and dynamic logistics organization

The management of such a complex and widespread organization is supported by software and hardware that together create an effective hi-tech system active on all warehouses . This allows:

  • a high level of flexibility and computerization
  • rigorous batch traceability
  • traceability of origin for most items

In this way we are able to quickly satisfy the specific requests of the most demanding customers in terms of label customization, data exchange, real-time sharing of information and management of Kanban and KanbanUp services.
